Day 01 : Arrive In Mumbai
On arrival transfer to the hotel, later sightseeing of the city including Mumbais most famous landmark, The Gateway of India. Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 02 : Mumbai Baroda (By Fly) Chota Udaipur
Today we will fly for Baroda situated on the banks of the Vishwamitri River. Baroda also known as Vadodara, which is a vibrant city with many interesting buildings, museums and parks. From Baroda well drive towards Chotta Udaipur, which was a princely state of the Chauhan Rajputs, who ruled much of this tribal belt for many years. The golden period came under HH Fatehsinhji, whose reforms and infrastructures addition brought about the progress Chotta Udaipur in the late-19th and early -20 century. On arrival transfer to the hotel, overnight stay.
Day 03 : Chota Udaipur
Full day at leisure around Chotta Udaipur where are a number of very picturesque tribal villages of bhils and Ratwas, known for their colorful attires, dances and pristine cultures. Native handicrafts like Pithora wall painting, pottery, terra cotta figures and arrow crating thrive hare. Palace of interest within 80 kms radios of Chotta Udaipur and Sankheda, known for it's beautiful lacquered wood furniture, the historic fort of Pawagadh, the Indosracenic monuments of Champaner and the 13th century fort of Dabhoi. Stay Overnight.
Day 04 : Chota Udaipur Ahmedabad
Morning drive to Ahmedabad. In Ahmedabad visit the noted Calico Museum (closed Wednesdays and holidays), Modhera and Patan. The Surya Temple at Modhera was built in 1026 and is dedicated to the Sun God. Patan is the old capital of Gujarat and home of the famous Patola silk weavers and is also noted for the Rani Vav step well. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 05 : Ahmedabad Poshina
After an early breakfast departs for Poshina, which has ancient Shiv temple, Jain temple and cenotaphs (chattries) of the ruling family. There are attractive places like the scenic Songadh dam, ringed by mountains, and the Chitra Vichitra temple, at the confluence of three rivers, near Poshina. Poshina is also the base to visit numerous places of interest to tourists. On arrival transfer to hotel, stay overnight.
Day 06 : Poshina
Full day excursion at Poshina, visit Ambaji, Khumbharia, Gadha Shamlaji, Khedbrahma and Idar. Stay overnight.
Day 07 : Poshina Zainabad
Leave early this morning for Zainabad a remote village and excellent base from which to visit the Little Rann of Kutch Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon drive into the reserve by jeep in search of the Asiatic Wild Ass, which is only found in the Little Rann. Stay Overnight.
Day 08 : Zainabad Bhuj (Kutch)
This morning depart for Bhuj the capital of the Rann of Kutch. Later visit the city to view the 18th century Aina Mahal Palace (now a private museum) and explore some the narrow alleyways with their carvel overhanging balconies. Stay overnight.
Day 9 : Bhuj (Kutch)
Over the next days visit the Banni villages around Bhuj, which are noted for their traditional handicrafts, especially embroidery, block painting, pottery, leather and silver work. Overnight at Bhuj.
Day 10 : Bhuj Wankaner
This morning drive to the princely state of Wankaner. Wankaner is one of the few princely capitals where most of the properties were named for rules of different princely states. Wankaner town is also known for it's Brick markers, potteries, town gates, bazaars, old palace, Playhouse cinema, memorial of Sartanji and his sati wife, town gates and numerous royal Initiatives. Stay Overnight.
Day 11 : Wankaner Bhavnagar
Continue drive to Bhavnagar a convenient base for exploring the magnificent temple town of Palitana. An extraordinary clusters of 863 Jain temples crowns the twin summits of Patilanas Shatrunjaya Hill and covers the saddle linking them. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 12 : Bhavnagar Gir
Morning drive towards Gir where, Sasan Gir National Park the last remaining home of the Asiatic Lion. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon safari by jeep in to the sanctuary. Lions can be difficult to spot, but other animals include nilgai, langur, sambar, chital plus a rich variety if bird life. Overnight stay.
Day 13 : Gir
Early morning and evening jeep safaris. Gir is an attractive sanctuary, which consists of mixed dry deciduous, and teak forest hills interspersed with grasslands and many rivers. The best time to visit Gir is between December and March; the sanctuary is usually closed from June to October. Overnight at Gir.
Day 14 : Gir Mumbai (Internal Flight)
Morning at leisure, afternoon flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to the hotel followed by Farewell dinner in the evening, later transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
